BJ The Chicago Kids Sends A Message With "It's True"

Moving the bar up even higher for himself, artist BJ The Chicago Kid shines with the Schoolboy Q assisted effort “It’s True,” as he uses music to paint a picture about those lost to the streets.

In an email to The Fader he wrote, “I was initially very nervous playing this track for Schoolboy Q. It is a PSA. Its mission is to let people know that you do not have to be involved in gang-like activity to be affected by it, to be hurt or killed by it. This life is real and can hurt the most innocent of people.”
