Audio Push on Leaving a Major Label to be Independent Again + Relationship with Kid Cudi

Signed to Interscope twice throughout recent memory, IE rap group Audio Push are free from a label again as they prepare to release their new album “90951.” Joining the Sway in the Morning studios they start things off by telling listeners about their experience performing for at Sway’s daughter’s end of school party last year.

Wasting no time getting into the music they touch on leaving Interscope once again. While there’s no haste there the group speaks on knowing their core fan group well enough to run things on their own. With the Good Vibe Tribe well intact their excitement to get this new material out to their fans is palpable.

Combining the two zip codes associated with the IE the group breaks down the title of the album as well as a few songs including “Praise You” which boats a feature from Musiq Soulchild. Getting into specific lines from another song, “Hyperbolic Vibe Chamber” both Oktane and Price speak on dealing with fake people in the industry and their goal to stick with their key supporters forever.

With a mention in Kid Cudi’s recent Twitter rant about artists he rocks with and others he no longer does the group talks about what Cudi’s support means to them. While this isn’t the first time the Man On The Moon artist has thrown their name out, they’re continually blown away by being recognized by one of the most impactful artists in recent years.

Watch the full interview above and make sure to pre-order “90951” now before it drops this Friday, September 23rd.
