Aside from running the highly acclaimed Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington is out researching and writing books that cover a multitude of important topics. With her new book “The Sleep Revolution: Transforming Your Life, One Night at a Time,” Huffington stopped by Sway in the Morning to elaborate on her love for sleep and the countless reasons why you need a proper night’s sleep.

Right off the bat we hear Huffington mention that sleep makes you a better hustler, leader, lover and athlete among other important things. Getting right down to the point Sway questions Huffington to elaborate on the aspect of sleep’s correlation to love making. Tying sleep loss to erectile disfunction and loss of sperm count, getting a proper night’s sleep obviously helps with motivation and energy to make love.

From love making to athletics Huffington speaks on Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala who has publicly credited his newly found sleep schedule to winning the 2015 NBA Finals MVP. Using sleep as a legal performance enhancer, Huffington urges athletes to pick up her book to investigate this very notion in the chapter dedicated to Iguodala.

The heart of Huffington’s message lies in setting boundaries for sleep and making into a romance. Decorate your room in a peaceful manor, sleep in clothes that are comfortable and special and most importantly know when to turn off your phone and other technology that keep you up at night.
