Apple’s Next iPhone May Feature Superior Water Protection

Sure, technology is always changing, but so are the cases in which it is housed. This further changes things, and definitely adds a new layer to any gadget or device. Today the word on the e-streets is that Apple’s next iPhone may boast superior water protection, which is said to match the capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S7. This would mean the phone would survive for up to 30 minutes in up to 1.5 meters of water.

This would certainly mark an interesting upgrade and would definitely aim to gain more fans. Restrictions would apply of course, as the iPhone’s warranty currently does not support water damage coverage. The warranty also brings into play the resistance abilities change should its user drop the phone into other liquids that are acidic or corrosive. Nothing official as of yet, but we can dream.
