An Inside Look At Rolex’s Oscars Greenroom

This year marks the 89th annual showcase of greatness known as the Academy Awards. Today we get an interesting look at the Oscars as we get a look at inside the greenroom. The Oscars are one of the biggest events in Hollywood and today we get our first look at Rolex’s Oscars Greenroom. The Swiss luxury watchmaker has designed the event’s backstage room where presenters and Academy Award-winners relax and socialize before and after going on stage.

This beautiful and well-appointed space features 1,000 square feet. It took six months to design and conceptualize by Rolex’s Geneva-based interior design team and this year goes with a green and gold scheme throughout. Here we find velvet sofas and stools as well as lush greenery and brass accents, while photos of actors wearing Rolexes in their previous roles grace the walls. There is also a green bar that pays homage to the iconic green Rolex boxes as well. Check out the stunning design in the images below and speak your thoughts on it after the jump.
