From film to television series’ to hosting television shows, Alyssa Milano has done it all over the span of her illustrious career. Focussing on “Project Runway All Stars” as of late, Milano stops by Sway in the Morning to speak on her new found love and gives amazing advice to young women in the entertainment industry.

Joking about her own fashion sense, Milano shares that she although she may take more heat for what she chooses to wear now, she believes fashion is a choice of expression. Speaking on the over use of stylists as of late she cites award shows some 15 years back and how the fashion choices were fun and expressive, not tailored and picked out by someone else. Milano mentions Jaden Smith and having no fear to wear what you truly like saying the only way to go wrong is to wear something only to gain attention for yourself.

From fashion to acting and the entertainment industry Milano speaks on diversifying her portfolio of work as she gets older. Touching on actors and actresses who have face work done to stay relevant Milano is afraid we are conditioning younger generations that they need to alter their image starting at a much younger age.

Giving advice to young women she drops a gem that makes Sway and Tracy G stop and ponder the moment. “You don’t need to be attractive to everyone,” Milano says with pride as she expresses that as long as her husband finds her attractive she will be a happy woman. Milano mentioned her young daughter, Bella, as she continues on about image. Spoken from the heart of a mother her wisdom is incredibly refreshing to hear coming from a society that is always focused on brand and image.
