Harlem’s very own, A$AP Ferg is back. Today the wordsmith is back with not one new track, but two for our listening enjoyment. Ferg drops off “Nia Long” and “Aw Yea,” the latter which features Lil Yachty. First up, “Nia Long,” a slick HighDefRazjah produced track that finds Ferg rapping about a pretty woman that reminds his of the actress. He effortlessly shows off his style and sound, getting one hell of home to shine upon in the process. The second track, “Aw Yea” finds Ferg and Lil’ Yachty showing off their respective delivery and talents behind the mic as well.
The track was produced by Maaly Raw who provided one hell of a backdrop for the two to do their thing. Ferg also gave a shoutout on Twitter to Fleur Fortune, the director behind Travis Scott’s Birds in the Trap short film. He stated “Whoever did this video was inspired by me” adding “I only can tell it how I see it. It’s alright to be inspired. I ain’t putting nobody down I’m just calling it how I see it. Look at ‘work’ and ‘Persian wine’ it’s trap lord aesthetic . I ain’t saying Travis did it but his directors def was alil inspired . Minus the robot head thing that ain’t trap lord aesthetic.” Check out Ferg’s new tracks below and give us your thoughts in the comments. Stay tuned for much more from A$AP Ferg coming soon.
