A Classic 1963 Shelby 289 Cobra CXS 2075

There is nothing more an iconic that the Shelby Cobra. We have seen a number of iconic versions from Shelby over the years, and today we get a look at another. This time around we get a look at A Classic 1963 Shelby 289 Cobra CXS 2075. This beautiful and pristine design features a sleek, black body while rocking a 289 CID engine and one of just 21 independent competition cars built.

This particular Cobra was run in various NHRA circuits before returning to the streets in 1971. The engine, transmission, and differential have been rebuilt, though the original body side curtains, top, and interior make a nice touch. The ride even features the signature of Carroll Shelby on the glove box. Check out the ride in the images below and speak your thoughts on it after the jump. Place your bid at RM Sotheby’s right now and stay tuned for more classic rides.
