Born and raised in Long Beach, California, Quincybeats is a producer, songwriter, and sonic architect shaping the next generation of modern R&B and West Coast rhythm. Growing up in a city with deep musical roots to classic G-funk, street legends, and timeless soul, he absorbed every layer of its energy. From the warm bounce of early-2000s R&B to the raw, melodic storytelling of the West Coast, these influences became the foundation of his signature sound: smooth, melodic, and filled with that unmistakable California swing.
Quincy’s journey started the way many great producers begin alone in his bedroom, teaching himself to make beats before ever stepping foot in a professional studio. What began as experimentation quickly grew into a fully formed craft. Over the years, he developed a unique blend of warm chords, polished textures, knocking drums, and lush harmonics inspired by The Neptunes, Ty Dolla $ign, YG, and the golden era of R&B production.
Now, Quincy steps into a defining moment with the release of his 10-song self-executive-produced project “You Name It”, a fully curated body of work designed to showcase his evolution as a producer and creative director. The project features some of the West Coast’s most exciting emerging voices, including Holland Izz, Rockitneedspace, Leota, and GLC, each artist bringing their own cadence and color to Quincy’s sonic landscape.
Quincybeats isn’t just making songs he’s crafting a new wave rooted in feeling, texture, and timeless West Coast soul.
