Los Angeles music executives Damian “Te Money” Jackson, founder and CEO of TMB Entertainment, and Danny Rodriguez, founder and CEO of Palma Music, are teaming up for a new joint record label venture with a bigger vision in mind. The partnership is all about bringing Black and Brown communities together through music, creating opportunities for independent artists, and building connections that go beyond neighborhoods and cultural differences. With both executives bringing their own experience and industry relationships to the table, the goal is to create something that benefits the culture and the artists coming up in it.
Te Money has spent years building his name in the music business, developing relationships with industry figures like Abou “Bu” Thiam and Akon, maintaining a close relationship with rapper Lil Zane, and working with Da Razkalz Cru before signing the late rapper Dolla to his first solo deal. His journey from growing up in Los Angeles to navigating the business side of music has given him a firsthand understanding of what artists need to grow and protect their careers. Through TMB Entertainment, he continues to focus on artist development, business relationships, and creating opportunities for talent to move forward.
On the other side, Danny Rodriguez has built his foundation through Palma Music, focusing on Latin music and helping elevate artists within that community. Now, by bringing their visions and worlds together, both executives are looking to create more space for collaboration between artists, producers, and music collectives across LA. Whether it’s connecting different sounds, expanding networks, or helping independent artists get the guidance and resources they need, the partnership is built around the idea that everyone benefits when the culture works together.
At the heart of this venture is a commitment to unity, transparency, fair business practices, and putting artists first. For Te Money and Rodriguez, this is about more than launching a business together; it’s about showing what can happen when Black and Brown communities build together instead of working separately. With TMB Entertainment and Palma Music joining forces, the two executives are looking to help shape a more connected Los Angeles music scene, where talent can cross boundaries, create new opportunities, and build something that lasts.
