For thousands of basketball players, the dream doesn’t end when college is over—or even if the NBA doesn’t come calling. Across Europe, South America, Asia, and other international markets, countless opportunities exist for talented athletes ready to take their game to the professional level. The challenge has always been getting noticed.
Former professional basketball player Duane Morgan, better known throughout the basketball community as ChipOverSeas, is changing that narrative.
On July 26-27 in New Jersey, Morgan and The Future Pro Network will host the ChipOverSeas 2-Day Pro Mini Camp, an event designed to connect aspiring professionals with overseas teams, agents, and decision-makers looking for their next signing.
This isn’t just another basketball showcase—it’s an opportunity built by someone who has lived the journey.
Built By Someone Who’s Been There
Morgan understands the grind because he’s experienced every step of it himself.
After graduating from Adelphi University, he began his professional career in 2015. Just two months into his rookie season, an injury ended his first contract before it truly began. Instead of allowing that setback to define him, Morgan used it as motivation, eventually building a successful nine-year professional career competing in Argentina, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, and Serbia.
Along the way, he gained firsthand knowledge of what international organizations look for in players and how difficult it can be to gain exposure without the right connections.
Today, Morgan has transformed those experiences into opportunities for the next generation.
Through The Future Pro Network, he has created a platform dedicated to helping athletes bridge the gap between amateur basketball and the professional ranks through player development, consultations, media exposure, and networking.
His résumé extends well beyond playing. Morgan has collaborated with organizations including the NBA, EuroLeague, Manchester Magic, Afro Ballers, Filayyy, DFW Basketball, and NYC Hoops Academy. He’s trained players competing at every level—from high school and AAU to NCAA basketball, the NBA G League, and FIBA competitions—and has also worked as a basketball broadcaster covering NCAA Division II, FIBA Europe Cup, and England’s top professional league.
That diverse experience gives players attending the camp something invaluable: guidance from someone who understands every side of the professional basketball business.
More Than Basketball—It’s Professional Exposure
The ChipOverSeas 2-Day Pro Mini Camp is designed to prepare athletes for the realities of playing professionally.
Over two days, participants will:
- Compete in high-level games against professional players
- Receive interviews and professional media kits
- Attend live panels featuring special guest speakers
- Be introduced to hundreds of European teams and basketball agents
- Learn how to build their personal brand while pursuing a professional career
In today’s game, talent alone isn’t always enough. Visibility, networking, professionalism, and branding often separate players who earn contracts from those who never receive the opportunity.
This camp focuses on all of it.
The Results Speak for Themselves
The Future Pro Network’s track record continues to grow.
Several players who attended the 2025 NYC Camp quickly turned exposure into professional contracts.
Among the success stories:
- Chima Oduocha signed with BBM Basket in France’s NM2 Division just one month after attending.
- Brandon Adelman earned a contract with the Iowa Wolves, the NBA G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, two months after participating.
- Jalen Rosemond received multiple professional offers from teams in Mexico and the Middle East within one month.
- Brandon Lawani signed to play professionally in Germany’s Regionalliga three months later.
- Jaylen Davis landed a contract in Mexico’s second division six months after the event.
While no showcase can guarantee a contract, these outcomes demonstrate the value of putting players in front of the right people.
