All eyes were on CBS last night as the 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament participants were announced as March Madness officially gets started. Who is in? Who is out? Aside from the obvious choices such as the undefeated 34-0 Kentucky Wildcats and 32 Conference champions, who else would be invited to the Big Dance? As the teams gathered around their television hoping to hear their names called with a chance to be named the 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball champions, nerves were at an all time high. After a very exciting hour of coverage, we finally had a full bracket that included Duke (South), Kentucky (Midwest), Villanova (East) and Wisconsin (West) as the favored number one seeds.
Final Four Predictions:
Kentucky vs. Arizona | Duke vs. Virginia
Kentucky vs. Duke – Kentucky, 2015 Champions
Typically, the favorites such as Duke and Kentucky don’t end up playing each other for the title. But, this year looks like an exception to the rule. Duke‘s combination of Tyus Jones, Quinn Cook and Jahlil Okafor is way too good while Kentucky boasting a perfect record of 34-0 and one of the most talented rosters we have ever seen speaks for itself.
We will find out in April if the talent and chemistry of these two talented teams is enough to add another championship to their incredible school history.
Stay tuned via @SwaysUniverse for upset alerts, top plays and more as the tournament plays out. Games are set to begin March 19th.
