Earlier in the summer, a member of YMCMB that goes by the rap name “Flow” was arrested for the murder of two brothers, Kendred Bishop and Kendrick “MuddyCupBuddy” Bishop on July 1st, in eastern New Orleans.
After the police found his phone at the scene of the murder, Flow was immediately put on the list of suspects for the murders. The police apprehended surveillance footage from a house that was located on the corner of where the two brothers were found dead in a black Kia sedan where the suspects were spotted running from the crime scene.
Flow was arrested and booked in the Orleans Parish Prison with a bond of $500,000. Just last week, Flow posted bail and was a free man for a little while, or so he thought.
Police indicted Flow on Thursday, September 24th for the murders. Not only did authorities bring him in, but they also arrested his girlfriend, Jamya Brady and his mother, Chantell Edwards.
Brady is charged on two obstruction of justice counts and his mother is charged with being an accessory after the fact. It is said that Brady helped the suspects flee the scene and his mother helped provide shelter for them to hide out from authorities.
Flow’s new bail is currently set at $3.5 million, his girlfriend’s at $500,000, and his mother’s at $250,000.
This isn’t the first incident where the YM rapper found himself a suspect in a murder trial. In 2013, he was charged with attempted murder but the charges were later dropped when a prominent witness failed to show up in court.
