A gritty look into “Pieces” of the real, Adrian Marcel come to life in his latest video release for the track.

The intriguingly private Oakland native, who doesn’t plan on ever revealing his race — opens up a bit of his heart in his latest visuals and,

can’t stop the tears from fallin‘ “

He takes us on an adventure throughout the bay area; hoping on the bart (regional rail service in the San Francisco Bay Area), through the streets of Fruitvale in Oakland, California (where he is originally from) and gets deep into broken down warehouses filled with graffitti art.

Although the video is shot is black and white, Adrian Marcel managed to capture his true emotions on camera. Watch “Pieces” of him open up, below:

Making waves with his new music, Adrian Marcel made a stop by to Sway in the Morning for our in-studio concert series. Before he began performing, Marcel first spoke about the Bay Area and his excitement about touring with Keyshia Cole. In addition to him not revealing his racial makeup, Adrian also gave his input about Chris Brown’s permed hair-do that greatly resembles his. Adrian also spoke about what it is like working with Raphael Saadiq.

When Adrian Marcel’s new single “2AM” dropped, featuring Sage the Gemini  — it was a hit for summer radio.

Continuing with the Sway in the Morning in-studio concert series, Marcel gave a live performance of his new song. Additionally, he spoke about how he juggles the many women who show interest in him because of his new found fame. He also discussed how he got past the issues in Oakland to pursue his music career.
