Warriors and Cavs Prepare for a Finals Rematch as the NBA Gifts 5 Games on Christmas Day

Family. Friends. Hoops. Merry Christmas.

Today across the nation families will be gathered sharing endless laughter, stories and exchanging gifts of love. Basketball fans received one from ESPN, well five of we’re being truthful about it. It is a NBA takeover for sure with games spanning from 12p featuring the Pelicans vs Heat to a late west coast matchup with the Lakers vs Clippers.

Of course there is one matchup in particular that will get more attention than most and for good reason: a NBA Finals rematch of Warriors and Cavs. Everyone is well aware of the amazing 27-1 start Golden State is off to, Cleveland guard JR Smith admits he was disappointed when they lost having this game circled on his calendar wanting to be the team to end their undefeated streak. Regardless of what the records are coming into tonight, you’d better believe it’s all about pride.

This will be the first time Lebron James and Steph Curry will see each other since the Warriors were crowned as champions. If you think both teams aren’t looking to make a statement tonight, you must’ve taken a few of those amazing Happy Hour with Heather B Christmas drinks to the head too fast. Golden State is saying “it was no fluke, we are really the best” while Cleveland hopes to prove the exact opposite and upend the hottest team in basketball.
