Stream Vince Staples' Highly Anticipated "Summertime '06" Album Before its June 30 Release Date


It’s now officially summer which means it’s also officially Vince Staples season.  The Long Beach native is set to drop his debut release under Def Jam, “Summertime ’06,” later this month on June 30.  Feeling the heat of the summer solstice, Staples took to NPR to give his fans a seasonal gift, a full stream of his forthcoming album.

From The Nightly Show to Sprite’s Obey Your Thirst campaign to a spot on the XXL Freshman list, Vince Staples is taking this release by the horns as he dives into some serious subject matter from police brutality to gang culture.

Recently announced as a double album, “Summertime ’06” is definitely slated as one of the most anticipated albums of the summer.  Already sounding big with recently released singles “Señorita” featuring Future and Snoh Aalegra and “Get Paid,” you hear the rest for yourself below.
