Steph Curry Goes Head to Head vs. Father Dell Curry in Game of “H-O-R-S-E” + Warriors Beat Bulls to Reach Perfect 14-0 Record

Curry for 3, splash. Curry with the pull up, splash. Curry from deep, splash. What a play by Curry.

No matter how many times we have heard amazed announcers yell those words, they never seem to get old. The Curry family has had one of the most impressive years without a doubt, from Steph exploding into the MVP to NBA Champs/Team USA member and a new addition to the family – it’s been incredible. But even before this “larger than life” story completely took off, Dell was setting the foundation years ago causing defenders problems from beyond the arc.  Their well documented history of being sharpshooters came to a crossroads as Father and Son went head to head in a game of “H-O-R-S-E” for GQ Magazine.

Who do you think took home a W? Check it out below:

While a lot of the attention is new for Chef Curry, he is staying focused clearly on what got him to this point: his faith and his work ethic. The reigning MVP and the Golden State Warriors are actually better than they were a year ago when they ran through the league en route to their first NBA title in 40 years. It is hard to imagine that being true but as the saying goes: “Men Lie. Women Lie. Numbers Don’t.” The Warriors are off to a 14-0 start and are already drawing numerous comparisons to the Bulls team that went 72-10 back in 1996. If you look at their team chemistry, home winning percentage and depth the comparisons aren’t farfetched at all. As long as these guys continue to grow together, the NBA is in serious trouble.
