By Maria-Karmina Landicho

What do you get when you connect a Harlem native to a New Orleans boy? Smoke DZA and Curren$y, is the answer.

It’s only fitting that Smoke DZA of Harlem, New York — has been heavily influenced by heavy weights of the city such as: Jay-Z and Notorious B.I.G. With that being said, ever since his feature with acts like Big K.R.I.T. and A$AP Rocky, Smoke DZA has definitely been on the move like those N.Y.C. legend’s.

Curren$y on the other hand has been on his own rise, as well. This Louisianian has also had features with some of the best in the game. Having just dropped a new Jet Life mixtape titled, World Wide HustlersCurren$y collaborated with Smoke DZA in this  joint “Don’t Play Me” and in the latest visuals released by Kaleidoscope, showcases exactly how serious they are about not letting anyone play them.
