Today, Red Bull BC One announces 16 of the world’s best B-boys who will compete for the globe’s most-coveted title in B-boying—the Red Bull BC One World Champion. The dancers, will go head-to-head in Paris on November 29th, were narrowed down from 90 international B-boy cyphers and six intense qualifying Finals in the USA, Brazil, Algeria, Finland, Croatia and Taiwan this year. The six Finals’ winners will join ten Wild Cards descending upon the global stage, going full force in one-on-one battles to determine who will take home the crown of World Champion. The World Final will be held at the historic Grand Halle de la Villette in Paris, France, home to many landmark hip-hop/dance events to date, including the 2008 Red Bull BC One World Final.
This year, Florida native B-boy Victor who was crowned 2014 BC One National Champion this past August in Las Vegas, will represent the United States in Paris. Two-time World Final participant B-Boy Gravity and B-Boy Thesis were selected as the two United States Wild Cards to join Victor on the World Final stage in hopes of taking home the championship.
