Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan Discusses Racial Discrimination and Immigration, Being Afraid to Check Instagram DM's & Crowns Heather B

Oklahoma native and Boston University graduate Olivia Jordan was just recently crowned Miss USA 2015.  Making her way around New York City doing press and celebrating her win, Jordan stopped by Sway in the Morning to meet the crew.

Being from Oklahoma, Jordan speaks on getting over her fear of failing as well as having a supportive family that helped her along the way.  With her answer on racial discrimination helping her take home the Miss USA crown, Jordan speaks on the topic and why she’s glad people are taking it seriously.

Being crowned Miss USA has its obvious benefits but it also comes at a price, one negative is social media creeps trying to slide into the DM’s.  Jordan laughs at the topic as she explains that she is afraid to open the direct message feature on her Instagram.

Jordan also talks about graduating from Boston University and taking cursing out of her vocabulary.  Sway and the crew try their best to get Jordan to crack and spill details on some tough questions but there’s a reason Jordan took home the crown for being smooth.

Check out the full interview and make sure to follow along with Olivia Jordan on Twitter @MissUSA.
