Trap Queen to Feminist.
Maybe the reverse or maybe it was a progression, who knows? MC Lyte does, or at least has a hunch that Fetty Wap genuinely cares for how women are portrayed in his art – calling him the most feminist rapper in the game.
Before anyone tries to take that and run the opposite way of how she truly intended the incredibly supportive remarks, check out her strong words below:
“He may have a very unique way of presenting his ideas, but he does love women. For what he’s up against in this climate with all of the other emcees, he’s taking a stand. He’s being pretty courageous right now with what it is he presents in his music because it’s really not the norm.”
After having one of the best years ever in music as a new artist, Fetty Wap now has legendary MC Lyte lifting him up during the White House Council on Women and Girls Summit. Pretty impressive.
