Mass Appeal Creative Director Sacha Jenkins Discusses “Who Got The Juice” Documentary: OJ Simpson Trial 20 Years Later + Thoughts on George Zimmerman

Sacha Jenkins, exceptional journalist and director of the documentary “Who Got the Juice?”, stopped by Sway in the Morning to give us some insight about his film centered around the OJ Simpson trial 20 years later. When you hear that it has already been 20 years, you can’t help but think “man time moves fast” quickly followed by those initial thoughts you had as the infamous White Bronco raised down the highway. Guilty or Innocent, there was no in between for opinions in America during one of the most publicized trials of all time. The BET special highlights OJ’s wildly successful football career, the chase, trial, verdict and every between as Jenkins brings it all together for a powerful piece of work.

During the discussion, he brought things full circle touching on the current racial issues 20 years after the fact and the ongoing divide that still plagues our nation today. Whether it was the reaction to Zimmerman being considered innocent or how passionate people still are to this day about the OJ Simpson verdict – there is much to be learned for us all. Not only did he leave us with a few thoughts from his gifted mind but he dropped a few copies of the latest Mass Appeal magazine which you should definitely grab over the weekend.

Enjoy the full interview below and be sure to check out his “Who Got the Juice?” documentary as soon as you can.
