Marc Lamont Hill on Appealing to Different Audiences From CNN to VH1 and BET, Experience at FOX News & Voting Green Party

Marc Lamont Hill has gone from teaching at prestigious schools like Temple, Colombia and Morehouse to hosting shows on Fox News, CNN, VH1 and BET. Joining Sway in the Morning he speaks on appealing to different audiences and political slant he’s experienced.

Starting off speaking on his time at FOX News he recalls the somber mood the night President Obama was elected to office in 2008. Overhearing people say they were going to make his time in office a living hell he jokes that only he and the janitor were excited that Obama had won the presidency.

Speaking on the current election he opens up about both major candidates not being trusted and not being liked. Stating that any other year Trump would have been taken out easily he says people just can’t get over the email scandal as well as Benghazi. Continuing on about politics he says he will be supporting Jill Stein and the Green Party come November.

Currently on CNN as well as VH1 live he speaks on his love for appealing to different audiences. Also hosting a segment on BET he explains that he argued for people to disregard the photos of Melania Trump as a women should be able to celebrate her body.

Ending the interview Lamont Hill briefly talks about his new book “Nobody” and helps Tracy G with Celebrity Wire as they cover topics from Soulja Boy’s robbery and Miley Cyrus appropriating black culture.
