It seems like from day one of this high school phenom to NBA champion Lebron James era, he has been making moves on and off the court that are out of this world – including a lifetime deal with Nike as well as a deal with Warner Bros. It seems like the latter has begun to show life as it was confirmed earlier today, there will be a ‘Space Jam 2‘ starring the Cleveland champion.
Of course there will be countless jokes about James playing with the Monstars, leaving his Looney Tunes team or open the door for more MJ vs. Bron conversations but those same voices will be used to purchase movie tickets once it hits theaters. While a release date for the film is still up in the air, (no alley oop reference…promise), at least the film is officially in progress after landing a director Justin Lin.
Should be fun to see how this turns out, in the meantime the Cavs kick off their second round match-up against the Atlanta Hawks tonight at 7pm EST.
