Kristin Davis goes from playing with boys in "Sex & The City" to playing with Elephants in the "Gardeners of Eden"

By Maria-Karmina Landicho

Actress turned Activist, Kristin Davis is well-known for the sensual and brilliant television series, Sex & The City. But she is moving past playing with those boys and moving forward to playing with elephants in Kenya.

Recently, Kristin has moved forward onto shining light on elephant poaching as the Superwoman-Producer to the documentary, “Gardeners of Eden“. Naturally, Sway challenges her work by asking,

Can this make a difference?

In full confidence, Kristin Davis clearly explains:

I think so. I think film is a really really powerful tool…I wanted people to feel what I feel when I get to go…I wanted to show that story while we have time. And we really need everyone to kind of stand up and be an Activist to try and save our world!

She continued,

(This is) For everyone. It’s not even just the elephants…we have some awareness, but it’s like a turning point right now. We have to stand up. We have to do something. We have to say what’s important to us. Because I think the bad people who are doing this; they’re strong and they have no qualms.

Watch as Kristin Davis gets put to the Sway In The Morning Citizen Test and see if she passes!

Kristin Davis learned that illegal poaching could soon lead to elephant extinction. Apprehensive about the inclusion of the poacher’s point-of-view, she still bit the bullet and went through with the film; she even went as far as financing the documentary herself.
