MTV christened her “Buzzworthy” and Clear Channel’s iHeart Radio called her “One to Watch” – Kimberly Cole is quickly progressing into music’s top independent artist, whose dance pop music brings a sexy and sophisticated edge to the Billboard charts.
Today, Kimberly revealed the cover art and tracklist for her highly anticipated EP, ‘The Prelude,’ which will be released on February 11th on iTunes.
‘The Prelude’ exposes a more intimate side of the songstress while showcasing the evolution of Kimberly Cole. The music is full of electrifying rhythms and lush melodies, yet with raw emotions not to be taken lightly. Kimberly says, “The Prelude reflects strength and loss. The story is about different stages of understanding one’s worth and power.”
‘The Prelude’ is versatile. It escapes all genres. As for the sound? Think Stefani at her most reggae paired with major EDM beats, says Nylon magazine.
