Kendrick Lamar Leads The 2017 VMAs Nominations

Every year about this time the good folks over at MTV gear up for their annual showcase of music videos. Today MTV gives us a look at The 2017 VMAs Nominations, in which we find Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd and Chance The Rapper leading the way.

The show will take place on August 27th, and yesterday MTV unleashed the nominees. Kendrick Lamar comes in with the most nods with eight, including “Video of the Year,” “Artist of the Year” and “Best Hip-Hop.” The Weeknd gets five nominations while Chance the Rapper, DJ Khaled and Ed Sheeran received multiple nods.
