Hopsin airs out the truth in the courtroom in his new video for “ILL Mind of Hopsin 8”.
The video shows the California rapper taking some shots at Funk Volume’s co-founder and CEO Damien Ritter. Hopsin first announced two months ago he had decided to part ways with the label he co-founded. Funk Volume was an independent rap label and production company that was home to Hopsin, Dizzy Wright, Jarren Benton, and more. Hopsin has officially left the label and is now under his own company Undercover Prodigy.
The track has the aggressiveness, trap beats and complex lyricism you’d expect from Hopsin so you already know this song is fire. The ending shows a series of pictures that poses as a eulogy for the relationship between Hopsin and Funk Volume Records.
