It seems like it was just last week Oakland was celebrating a well deserved NBA Championship. Time flies I guess when you are walking around as a champion because that time has arrived once again for a brand new NBA Season. With the season officially set to begin, Golden State treated fans to a great interactive experience for Media Day yesterday allowing an up close and personal look at the team before they begin Training Camp on Tuesday.
How do you improve chemistry on a team that had the best home record in the league and won the Finals as a unit? The management somehow managed to do so by adding future Hall of Famer and 2-time MVP Steve Nash to their coaching staff in a part time player development role. They also added depth to their stacked backcourt signing Ben Gordon. Although Curry, Thompson and Bogut all participated over the summer in international play – the group seems ready to hit the ground running as they attempt to repeat.

“It was a learning experience this summer. This was probably the craziest that it could be, granted, with how much traveling we did and all the events that I was at. But like I said, that never trumped the priority of being prepared for training camp. I’ll kind of feel it out as you go through the next couple weeks of how my body responds and feeling the flow of training camp. But I’ve been able to get some rest in the last couple weeks and really mentally prepare for the journey of another nine-month season and being able to play deep into June in being fresh.” – Steph Curry (via NBA.com)
The Warriors will launch their 2015-6 campaign against Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Hornets October 27th. Tune In. #GSWCountdown
