The Friday Fire Cypher is continuing to evolve with the help of the incredible talent that joins us each and every week. Last Friday, April 22nd, we had four more amazing artists join us to showcase their skills.

Production was provided by Mike Mosley who hails from the Bay and has worked with an unrivaled list of artists from E40 to Tupac and many many more.

The first artist to hit the mic was Mada, a singer/songwriter from Boca Raton Florida. Starting to sing at the age of 6, Mada started to hone her craft at the age of 18 as she moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music.

Harlem by way of the Bronx artist Don Mykel was next as he spoke on learning to art of rapping from his uncle and his father who turned their laundry room into a studio. Looking up to artists like Nas and Big Pun, Don Mykel’s freestyle flows effortlessly.

Last but not least is Rajeo from Sacramento, he speaks on the Sac Town music scene as well as getting his music published on “Bad Girls Club” and other film and television productions. Recently working with Gucci Mane on a track titled “Amnesia,” Rejeo goes completely off the top with his freestyle.

After the cypher wraps up Sway decides to bring these four visionaries together to create an exclusive track live on air. Using an original beat from Mike Mosley, Mada provides the sultry hook as Don Mykel and Rajeo go back and fourth with a few 16’s, the result is amazing and is titled “We Used To Ride.”
