Hyeeenas! You gotta love the Friday Fire Cypher, that smell of competition in the air is always refreshing and very familiar to citizens of SITM.

Hyenas that come hungry and ready to show the world they belong in the ring with the nicest rarely waste time getting into it. HXLT stepped to the mic like a man of a mission, twisting words at a pace not many can keep up with, dude came well prepared.

The talented multi-genre influence HXLT also produced his entire project except for the single “Guitar” he dropped live on air. Plus, being signed to G.O.O.D Music has to have its one of a kind perks right?! We find out what his biggest lesson learned from Kanye West has been thus far before he rips apart the Friday Fire Cypher.

Next up: Cool Amerika

Making a solid name for yourself in one of the biggest music factories in the world aka Atlanta isn’t exactly an easy thing to do. Cool Amerika is proving to do just that though as their name grows in everyday discussions about who is next out of a region that consistently producing great artists. Raised in and repping for East Atlanta, Cool Amerika not only took turns killing the Friday Fire Cypher but also put us on some of that Atlanta culture that you can only get from those there.

Next Emcee Up: Jus

Get. In. The. Game. You already know any artist carrying around the attention of a “Get In The Game” spotlight artist has to be well prepared with the bars. What better time to bring Jus to SITM than for a run at the Friday Fire Cypher. During the visit, he gave fans a taste of what got our attention with “Know Bout Me” live on air. The Long Island product looks to give his region some new revitalized energy musically, check it out below and get to know Jus.

Bringing up the anchor position in this week’s lineup of hyenas: Kelechi

After dealing with the struggle of college vs. rapping, Kelechi decided to step outside of the traditional route his Nigerian upbringing of “Education first” pushed him towards. The result: Pepsi/Mountain Dew recognized the talent, stepping to the mic on Sway in the Morning for the Friday Fire Cypher and a strong ‘Before the Quarter’ project on the way. Not bad at all. Get to know  about the Mountain Dew Green Label winner and his Nigerian background then of course the BARS below:

Special Guest: Elite

“Dreamville, my whole team strong.” One of the brilliant minds behind what has been a steady growth for J. Cole and his team is none other than Elite. The producer of standout records like “Crooked Smile” and “Let Nas Down” show immediately how important his role has been in helping Cole fully develop into the artist he envisioned himself. That is a true sign of a dope producer in our eyes so it was only right that he got a personal invite to kick some beats while the Hyenas lined up and ate off the Friday Fire Cypher.

Check it out below and grab the Dreamville project, “Revenge of the Dreamers II” right after.
