Growing up in the game Diggy Simmons is well aware of how to navigate through the BS. With his new song “Feel Like” leading the way for a new project under Atlantic coming at the end of September he joins Sway in the Morning to catch up.
Joking that Sway has gone from mentor to mentee in his relationship with Diggy he praises the emcee for always holding his head up high. Asking Diggy about his personal life from the jump he reveals that he’s still living at home but is looking to move out soon. Saying his parents are often gone he gets grilled by the crew about bringing girls home.
With new styles of music breaking through every day Sway asks Diggy how he’s sonically adjusting to the times. Saying it’s all about content at the end of the day Diggy makes it known that he’s always used melodies in his music and now it’s just about working with different producers to carve out his unique sound.
Getting into his new track “Feel Like” produced by Ayo, Diggy breaks down the lyrics and admits that the emotional track comes from a real place. Privately dating someone for three years he speaks on splitting with his ex and how it runs into the music.
Going into his new project he reveals that the majority is produced by Ayo who has worked with t Bryson Tiller among others. Currently in-between a few titles he says the project will be free and should be out by the end of September.
