When you bring together two iconic brands in style such as Staple and Cole Haan you are bound to get something special. Today that is exactly what we get as the two brands pair up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Staple Design. Today we get our first look at a new collaboration dubbed the 2.ZeroGrand Stitchlite. This eye-catching design is a modern rendition of the classic wingtip design, boasting an elevated version of the original ZeroGrand. THe design features twisted yarn for a marbled look throughout the upper while offering up comfort and stability with the Grand.OS outsole. The knitted design ensures breathability while the Staple Pigeon logo is embossed on the tongue and insole.
Speaking of the design and the anniversary, Jeff Staple stated: “Working with Cole Haan represents an opportunity to show the world how far Staple has come in this — our 20th year of existence. Cole Haan to me is at the perfect intersection of innovation, sophistication and design. I am extremely proud that Staple is now a part of its storied history.” Scott Patt, vice president of design and innovation at Cole Haan’s Global Innovation Center in New Hampshire added, “Jeff and his work represent all that is New York in its grit, adaptation and individuality. This partnership is a celebration of our shared values and our dedication to craft, style and engineering in everything we make.” Have a look at the striking and stylish collabo in the images below and speak your thoughts on it after the jump. Look for the kicks now at Staple before a global release on August 10th.
