Christina Ricci Uncut: Dealing with Fame as a Child Actress, Motherhood & New Amazon Prime Series

“Well behaved women don’t make history,” is the slogan behind the new Amazon Prime series, Z: The Beginning of Everything. And the woman behind the series, producer of the project and lead star of Z, Christina Ricci has joined us on Sway in the Morning to talk all about it.

As Amazon states, Z is a biography series based on the life of Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, the brilliant, beautiful and talented Southern Belle who becomes the original flapper and icon of the wild, flamboyant Jazz Age in the 20s.

Christina tells us she wanted to grab a better grip on her career and decided to cast herself in this romantic and wild series, producing the show herself. This hard worker also reveals that 2 months after her baby was born, she went back to work for a dedicated 17-hour days.

Ricci is no stranger to hard work though – in fact, she opened up about having a famous childhood playing the role of Wednesday Addams on hit TV series, The Addams Family, and how she scored the role.

Watch below and catch Z: The Beginning of Everything on January 27 on Amazon Prime.
