To celebrate the U.S. launch of the #miZXFLUX app and the next chapter in the ZX story, adidas Originals opens their innovative ZXFLUX Experience exhibition in Los Angeles on November 22nd. Riding off the immense success of the New York launch, which kicked off November 14th, the Los Angeles exhibition will mirror the New York activation as both an immersive and interactive experience with the #miZXFLUX app. The all-ages, public event will be located at 1006 South Olive Street from 2-8 p.m. and will be hosted by Sirius XM radio personalities, LA Leakers.

The ZXFLUX Experience will consist of a daytime retail pop-up store where guests will enjoy giveaways, a photobooth and other activities while browsing limited edition ZXFLUX shoes designed by some of today’s biggest influencers in music, sports and entertainment. Along the walls of the space will be the original ZXFLUX colorways and inline prints, along with a new ZXFLUX print pack made exclusively for the occasion. Food will be provided by the Mexi Calbi food truck along with complimentary refreshments by Philz Coffee, Reed’s Ginger Brew and AQUAHydrate.

As a salute to Los Angeles basketball, adidas Originals has created never-before-seen three shoe limited print pack that will be unveiled at the event: the “LA Lakers,” “LA Clippers” and “LA City”. The first two designs draw inspiration from the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers’ professional team colors. The third limited print will feature the Los Angeles city backdrop. The pack will be available for purchase and sold in the space for $100 USD.

#miZXFLUX app

Limited only by imagination, the highly anticipated #miZXFLUX app puts the power of design in the hands of the consumer to apply any image in the world to the infinitely versatile ZXFLUX model.

With either an iOS or Android device, users will be able to take new photographs and apply them to the ZXFLUX’s upper, with a seamless user interface from start to finish.

Once their design is selected, a 360° 3D preview will allow users to rotate, scale and position their design until it’s just right, with the ability to then save and share their designs on social networks and more.

Users in the U.S. are now able to purchase a pair of custom ZXFLUX shoes through the #miZXFLUX app. Orders take 4-6 weeks. $110 USD.
