Check Out IROJE KHM Architects’ “Flying House” Near Incheon Airport

Unique design can be found all over the world. Today we get a look at some striking contemporary architecture and design that can be found in South Korea. Today we get a look at the “Flying House”, a unique design that was inspired by flight. The home is located in Incheon, right near the airport, making quite the perfect location for the owner, a pilot, and his family. This stunning home takes eye-catching design elements from flight and offers a unique flow throughout.

The design features touches of traditional Korean architecture including a living room that has a seated heating stone setup. The interior and exterior are seamlessly brought together through gardens in the center of the design. We also find a path leading towards the roof, while massive glass windows allow plenty of natural light to stream through. Have a look at this beautiful, modern design in the images below and speak your thoughts on it after the jump. Stay tuned for much more from the world of architecture and design coming soon!
