In you case you did not know, last night marked the 2017 MLB All-Star Game. The event took place down in Miami at Marlins Park and saw the best of the best in baseball showing their talents. The good folks over at adidas also took their talents to South Beach for the All-Star game, putting together The adidas Baseball x MLB All-Star Experience. This one of a kind event was a celebration of, not only adidas Baseball athletes but also a showcase of the 2017 Icon ‘Legends Pack’. Taking over a unique venue in the iconic Wynwood area of Miami, adidas Baseball put together an event that effortlessly and flawlessly brought the worlds of sports and culture together.
Three Stripes invited iconic Miami native artists such as Quake, Atomik, Crook, Mike Suarez and more to put together something inspired by the ‘Miami’ design from the City Legends Pack. They did not disappoint, crafting a massive mural full of ‘Miami’ vibes that also brought details from the City Legends Miami Trainer. Joined by fans of sports, art and more, the artists invited the public to join them in the mural’s creation, providing a unique experience for anyone and everyone. The last night of the event included a Miami style party with an incredible spread of food and drinks, while a few adidas athletes came out to enjoy the evening as well. All-Star pitcher Chris Archer of Tampa Bay Rays, 2015 Major League Baseball (MLB) American League Rookie of the Year, shortstop Carlos Correa of the Houston Astros, and others came out to celebrate with the fans. The party included a first look at the finished product, providing a colorful ‘Miami’ themed mural that was created by some of the best artists in Miami and fans of adidas.
The weekend concluded with a trip to the 2017 MLB Home Run Derby at Marlins Park where the Yankees rookie star Aaron Judge took home the hardware.
