It's Not Christmas, but Bodega Bamz Goes from Being The Sidewalk Exec. to Dropping Lyrical Presents on This Hip Hop Holiday + Spanish Harlem's Golden Boy Wins Over Erick Sermon on His Freestyle

By Maria-Karmina Landicho

No it’s not Christmas, but it sure feels like a Holiday with Bodega Bamz and Erick Sermon, both dropping jewels under one roof.

The success of New York artists’ like A$AP Mob and Action Bronson have been popping up in front of our eyes, quicker than weed in between the cracks of the concrete on the sidewalks we walk upon.

With his latest album release of Sidewalk ExecBodega Bamz (a.k.a.: “Papi“) has blessed the world with his East Harlem state-of-mind. Furthermore, Papi‘s latest freestyle on Sway In The Morning on a live-track of Erick Sermon’s beat, proves that he doesn’t need to try hard to stay relevant. This man naturally has what it takes. Ya dig?

Bodega Bamz’s talent seems to come fairly easy to him as he provides an incomparable sound that comes straight out of Spanish Harlem. Although he is not shy to showcase what he has stored inside, Papi plays it cool, calm and collected in his latest interview alongside New York’s, Bay Side legendary Producer, Erick Sermon.

Watch what all the chatter is about on Bodega BAMZ — as he makes Spanish Harlem very proud on his freestyle challenge, below:
