After Premiering “Tabernacle” on SITM, Royce Da 5’9 is Back Fully Loaded with ‘Trust The Shooter EP’

When you’re good at something, you’ll tell people. When you’re great at it, they’ll tell you.

Royce Da 5’9 is a prime example of that and what it looks like when you’re so dedicated to the sport, you don’t waste time with much outside of being the absolute best. It’s that pedigree that has always placed him in a different category when it comes to rap music. There are artists who do it for the fame, the money or just like the idea of “being a rapper” but for some odd reason forget what is most important…the actual skill involved. Forcing someone to hear your music and scratch their head wondering how did he come up with that? Listening to a story being told like “Tabernacle” and being taken to that very critical time in an artist life, feeling as if you are watching it play out before your very own eyes. That is a gift and a very rare feeling that not every MC can give the world but that’s never been a problem for Royce.

Only a week after spitting out three minutes of pure heat for the video “Which is Cool“, he decides it’s time to give fans exactly what they want – a full project. We thought it would come as the awaited ‘Layers‘ album which drops April 15th but we were pleasantly surprised when his ‘Respect the Shooter‘ EP dropped. No such thing as too much quality apparently, he then followed up by dropping a dope “Universe Workin” video earlier this afternoon as well.
