2015 NFL Season Preview + Bruno Mars Selected for Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show

Even though the season begins on a Thursday night, we have all been awaiting this week as our Sundays are soon to be filled with food, friends, trash talk and victory dances. You guessed it, the 2015 NFL season is finally here!

The offseason was eventful as rivals became teammates in the case of Demarco Murray joining the Eagles and Andre Johnson joining the Colts. Tom Brady avoided the entire “Deflategate” scandal in time to start Week 1 while RG3 is struggling to stay on the Redskins roster. Darelle Revis is back in a Jets uniform, the Bills are probably the most revamped offense in the league and you better believe Adrian Peterson is coming back with a vengeance.

This is that moment when every fan league wide is looking at their respective schedule trying to predict the wins and losses, hoping star players will stay healthy to get them extra fantasy points and arguing with friends about what happened last season vs. what’s to come this year.

After all, everyone does have the same 0-0 record for now but where did your favorite team land in the first official 2015 Power Rankings? Let’s take a look (via ESPN):

The quest for the Lombardi Trophy begins tomorrow night as the New England Patriots face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 7:30 CST on NBC. Speaking of the Super Bowl and its prized possession, the NFL has invited Bruno Mars to return for a halftime performance and to also help them curate the show. Given his versatility, we could be in for an unforgettable night and long list of musical guests.

Before that happens, we have a lot of great football to enjoy and it seems like it can’t get here quick enough. Hit us @SwaysUniverse and let us know who you’re riding with to Super Bowl 50 as it comes to the BAY AREA!
